Meanwhile, in Australia, Lesbian Action Group wins Federal Court appeal in bid to exclude transgender women MEN:

Justice [Mark] Moshinsky found exemptions to the Sex Discrimination Act could be allowed, even if they permitted conduct that would otherwise count as discrimination — contrary to what the tribunal ruled.

He found the tribunal was wrong to treat the mere fact that the exemption would involve discrimination against transgender women [sic] as automatically making it unlawful, since it was possible discrimination could result in a net positive outcome.

But Justice Moshinsky declined to make any ruling on whether that would be the case — finding only that the tribunal had erred in its legal reasoning and must reconsider the matter.

He said the tribunal did not fully consider the LAG's arguments in relation to those human rights — having wrongly decided it wasn't bound to — and must do so when it remade its decision.

That’s right — the Australian Human Rights Commission failed to recognize that women have human rights.

Meanwhile, in the UK, one year has passed since their Supreme Court decided that men are not women. Has anything changed since then? Not much:

And yet, one year on, that clarity has not translated into action. Public bodies, regulators, employers and charities that were expected to review and update their policies continue to delay, avoid or outright resist change. Others are removing services for women and girls altogether.

The first hints of the current wave of violence began last year. Following the landmark judgment in For Women Scotland Ltd vs The Scottish Ministers, in which the Supreme Court confirmed that ‘sex’ in the Equality Act refers to biological sex, the women behind the campaign reported being inundated with death threats and misogynistic abuse. They also described the damage their views had caused to their employment and business interests.

So no, not much has changed in the UK in one year. But TERF Island is still far ahead of the USA. Misogyny and lies will take much longer to go away.

PA Rep Ismail Wade-Smith-El, D-49, introduced a Memo that states:

I plan to introduce the Protection of Minors from Conversion Therapy Act to address harms associated with conversion therapy by prohibiting a mental health professional from engaging in this archaic treatment with an individual under the age of 18.

In his Memo, Rep Wade-Smith-El claims “This therapy often consists of talk therapy, abusive physical treatments such as electric shock and induced vomiting, and emotionally abusive tactics.” Talk therapy is simply real psychotherapy. Apparently exploring why a minor questions or rejects her/his sex is unacceptable; only unconditional “affirmation” is what Rep Wade-Smith-El wants to mandate. The latter four practices are tortures only inflicted by religious fundamentalists. No ethical psychotherapist would ever do these things today, although they have in the past. Once again, TQ++++ are force-teaming themselves with actual LGB rights.

The timing of this Memo so soon after SCOTUS ruling on Colorado’s “conversion therapy” ban is probably not a coincidence.

PA SB 9, the Save Women’s Sports Act, is now in the PA House Children & Youth Committee. On March 25, 2026:

The minority chair [Rep Katie Klunk, R-169] made a motion to consider SB 9. The majority chair ruled that the bill is not on the agenda. The minority chair made a motion to appeal the ruling of the chair.

Rep Klunk’s motion passed 14-8. Maybe now this bipartisan bill that already passed the PA Senate will finally make it to the PA House floor for a vote.

DNA evidence links Harrisburg man to 3rd child rape

He’s been jailed since December 2024, when police charged him in connection with the abduction of a 12-year-old girl walking home from school who said he raped her at his uptown Harrisburg home. He didn’t know the girl, police said, and had been following her while wearing a mask and all-black clothing.

Finley was also charged on March 23 after police say he used a fake photo on Snapchat to lure a 13 or 14-year-old girl to his house, where he raped her, the affidavit said. She’s now 15.

The PA House passed HB 1800, the Marriage Equality Act, which would repeal our Commonwealth’s law restricting legal marriage to one woman and one man. This is good news for Pennsylvanians!

Pennsylvania lawmakers pass marriage equality legislation

‘A fundamental right’: Pa. House again passes bill to end state’s unenforced gay marriage ban

The measure, which would strike the line in state law saying that marriage is “between one man and one woman,” passed on a 127-to-72 vote, with all but one Democrat voting for it, along with 26 Republicans.

Wednesday’s vote lost support over the same bill that passed in the House two years ago, 133-to-68, although the vote is consistent with polls showing a recent backlash to gay marriage among the GOP voter base. The previous bill was not taken up in the Republican-majority state Senate, and the current one is also a longshot.

The same day, PA House passes same-sex marriage bill, delays vote on Fairness Act amid heated debate

A bill, HB 300, [link added] aimed at banning discrimination against LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians, referred to as the “Fairness Act,” was pulled from a planned vote after supporters acknowledged it did not have the necessary backing to pass.

The same bill had passed the House 102-98 in 2023 during the previous session. The numerical makeup of Democrats and Republicans in the chamber has not changed in the period since.

“It's going to create a very unfair circumstance for a lot of different people,” Kail said. “The term ‘public accommodation,’ which is in the bill, means that it will apply to sports. It could apply to bathrooms, locker rooms, all kinds of different things. The unintended consequences of this bill would, in fact, be devastating.”

…

“I think the more Pennsylvania finds about this bill, the less that they'll like it. And maybe that's why it was pulled,” [Kail] said.

Yes, devastating for WOMEN. We would lose our rights to single-sex facilities, athletics, education, rape and domestic violence services, homeless shelters, and prisons.

It’s very interesting that the PA House passed a bill protecting same-sex marriage while the primary sponsor of the (Un)Fairness Act, Rep Malcolm Kenyatta, D-181, pulled his bill because the House would not pass it. (Rep Kenyatta also sponsored the Marriage Equality Act.) This might be a sign that many elected officials are more skeptical about “trans rights” claims and may be more amenable to LGB rights without the TQ+++. Will our legislators reject the forced-teaming of LGB with TQ+++? This could be a start in the right direction.

Some legislators will ONLY schedule meetings with their constituents. This is the reason we need you to contact your US House member. WoLF will have a few PA women in DC to attend the meetings you schedule. You don’t need to attend your meetings in-person. However, if you want to, you can participate via speakerphone; several PA women participated via mobile phone last year when we met with a sickeningly misogynist member of Senator Fetterman's staff. So PLEASE contact both PA US Senators and your US House Representative and schedule meetings from May 18-21 when WoLF will be in DC.

Another Action Alert — Protect Detransitioners!

This alert comes to us from Do No Harm.

Recently, Do No Harm asked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to consider new medical diagnosis codes, known as ICD-10 codes, related to gender transition and detransition.

Our proposed codes are urgently needed to ensure that detransitioners are fully visible to the healthcare system and can get the care they need. Additionally, these codes would improve research and medical care for those suffering from gender dysphoria.

Now, the CDC needs to hear from you!

PA HB 300

As many Dear Readers may know, on March 10, 2026, the PA House Judiciary Committee passed a series of pro-alphabet-soup and anti-women bills along party lines. You can read the all gory details here.

Many PA media are praising this as a win for the “LGBTQ community:”

The only win for LGB Pennsylvanians was marriage equality (HB 1800.) Every other Pennsylvanian — ESPECIALLY WOMEN AND GIRLS, as usual — lost big time.

Women are expected to simply accept this? And if we don’t?

A woman who questions why a trans-identifying male is in her locker room could now be treated not as someone raising a legitimate concern, but as someone engaging in the moral equivalent of physical intimidation.

Taken together, these bills represent a sweeping ideological shift in Pennsylvania law; one that elevates subjective self-expression or identity over objective biological reality, and in doing so, places the burden squarely on women.

Women are being told to step aside in their own sports. To stay silent in their own spaces. To accept discomfort, risk, and expose themselves to males in the name of someone else’s identity.

And if they push back, women are told they are the problem. That is not equality. That is not fairness. That is not tolerance.

To deny women and girls’ rights more, the Judiciary Committee voted to re-re-re-refer SB 9, PA’s Protect Women’s Sports Act, to another House committee along party lines. The Democrats continue to employ procedural shenanigans to prevent an actual women’s-rights bill to come to a vote. Every Pennsylvanian should be outraged.

I suggest NOT saying you’re a sex-realist or affiliated with WoLF or any other organization. You are a concerned constituent for women’s rights in this election year for the House. However, do tell them that 3-5 constituents will be in DC to meet them as a group. Meetings with legislative aides are just as good as with the MoC.

Even if you know your US rep (and Senator Fetterman) are completely riding the trans train, contact them anyway. Our elected officials need to listen to their constituents or we will vote them out. Remind your US rep that s/he is up for reelection this year.

Tell Senators McCormick and Fetterman to OPPOSE the “SAVE Act”

As some Dear Readers may know, the US Senate will vote on the “SAVE Act” (S.1383) this Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Your Humble Author urges you to contact our senators to OPPOSE this bill.

This is a sex-based rights issue because the SAVE Act targets married women. Repealing the Nineteenth Amendment is one of the goals listed in Project 2025. The “SAVE Act” is the first step.

If any eligible US voter wants to register for the first time, update their address, or change anything else about their registration, they must produce specific official documents proving that they are a US citizen. This narrow list of documents includes a valid (not expired) US passport or a certified copy of their birth certificate, all of which must match the voter’s legal name.

Approximately 69 million married American women voters have taken their spouses’ names. Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT legally required. It is only a custom. Married women (and men) who want to take their spouses’ names do NOT need to legally change their names; they can just begin using their spouses’ names. Many divorced women continue to use their spouses’ names even after their divorces are finalized. Married and divorced women, then, will not have birth certificates that match their married names, so they will be unable to vote or even register to vote. Official documents showing that a woman legally changed her name to match her original birth certificate are NOT acceptable for voting. So there!

If the SAVE Act passes, then the 69 million married American women who want to exercise our Constitutional right to vote will need to obtain the documents that are on that very narrow list. Married or not, men will not need to prove their citizenship to vote. ONLY MARRIED WOMEN will. This makes the SAVE Act a sex-based rights issue. It disenfranchises women specifically.

Moreover, passports and birth certificates cost time and money to procure. Not everybody has the money to get them; in fact, most Americans have never even applied for a passport let alone possess a valid one. Again, this is another obstacle to low-income married women to exercising our Constitutional right to vote.

Please contact Senators Fetterman and McCormick at the links above. Senator Fetterman has already changed his position in favor of the SAVE Act to opposing it after constituent feedback. We need to reinforce that feedback.

Born Joan Ruth Bader on March 15, 1933[,] in Brooklyn, New York, Ruth Bader Ginsburg served as an associate justice on the Supreme Court of the United States for 27 years. An exceptional student, Ginsburg graduated at the top of her class from Cornell University. From 1956-1958, Ginsburg was a student at Harvard Law School, where she was the first woman member and editor of the Harvard Law Review. In 1958, Ginsburg moved to New York. She was admitted to Columbia Law School, where she graduated, tied for first in her class, in 1959. Ginsburg became the first woman tenured faculty member at Columbia Law School in 1972.

During the 1970s, Ginsburg was the founding director of the Women’s Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union.

Can you imagine what Notorious RBG would say to the ACLU today? She’d be enraged and horrified at what they’ve become and what they’ve done to her Women’s Rights Project.

Happy International Women’s Day! The UN designated March 8 to be an annual celebration of women’s contributions to our world. Your Humble Author continues her salute to a few under-recognized women in this post in chronological order. All of these sheroes were medical and scientific pioneers. Millions of people worldwide are alive because of them.

March 4: Elizabeth Blackwell, MD, 1821-1910

Born in Britain, Dr Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman awarded an M.D. degree in the USA. Many nineteenth-century physicians, including a few women, practiced without a degree, but Elizabeth Blackwell wanted to attain full professional status. She was rejected by all the major medical schools in our nation because of her sex. Her application to Geneva Medical School (now Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York) was referred to the student body. They accepted with great hilarity, believing that it was a spoof perpetrated by a rival school. Working with quiet determination, Ms Blackwell turned aside the open hostility of her professors, students, and townspeople. She earned her medical degree in 1849.

Dr Blackwell completed her medical education in Europe, but faced additional difficulties in setting up her practice when she returned to New York. Barred from city hospitals, she founded her own infirmary. Eventually, she founded a Women’s Medical College to train other women physicians.

Dr Blackwell’s educational standards were higher than the all-male medical schools. Her courses emphasized the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene to prevent diseases. She later returned to Britain and spent the rest of her life there, working to expand medical opportunities for women as she had in the USA.

March 5: Virginia Apgar, MD, 1909-1974

Dr Virginia Apgar, brilliant physician and humanitarian, is best known for her development of the Apgar Score in 1952, a system to determine whether a newborn infant needs special attention to stay alive. In most births at the time, attention was focused on mothers, not the newborns, which resulted in high infant mortality. Dr Apgar’s simple test, performed in the very first minutes of a baby’s life, measures an infant’s pulse, skin color, activity, and respiration very quickly, enabling medical staff to intervene if the infant requires assistance to survive. This simple but brilliantly conceived examination has saved countless newborn lives all over the world.

One of the few women admitted to Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in the 1930s, Dr Apgar trained first in surgery, but shifted to anesthesiology, a new field that offered the opportunity to do groundbreaking work. She was soon named director of anesthesiology at Columbia, the first woman to head any department at the University. In 1949, after she built a major academic department in the discipline, she was named the first full professor of anesthesiology – the first woman to hold a full professorship in any discipline at Columbia University.

Dr Apgar shifted her career again in 1959 when she became a senior executive with the national foundation March of Dimes, and worked to generate public support and funds for research on birth defects. She was a spectacular fundraiser and public educator, greatly increasing both visibility and attention paid to birth defects.

In 1973, Dr Apgar became the first woman to receive the Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. In 1994, Dr Apgar was pictured on a U.S. postage stamp as part of the Great Americans series.

March 6: Gertrude Elion, 1918-1999

One of the USA’s most distinguished research scientists, Gertrude Elion’s Nobel Prize in 1988 capped a career devoted to combat some of the world’s most dangerous diseases. And she did not have a doctorate!

Ms Elion, working predominantly with George Hitchings, created drugs to combat leukemia, gout, malaria, herpes, and autoimmune disorders. She and Hitchings devised a system for designing drugs that led to the development of the AIDS drug AZT.

In the 1950s Ms Elion pioneered the development of two drugs that interfered with the reproduction of cancer cells to cause remission in childhood leukemia. In 1957 she created the first immunosuppressive agent, leading to successful organ transplants. In 1977, her work led to the development of the first drug used against viral herpes.

Gertrude Elion, who lost both her grandfather and mother to cancer, never lost sight of the humans whose lives her research affects. She said, “When you meet someone who has lived for 25 years with a kidney graft, there’s your reward.”

March 7: Flossie Wong-Stahl, PhD, 1947-2020

Dr. Flossie Wong-Staal was a world-renowned molecular biologist and virologist and one of the pioneers in research on HIV, the causative agent of AIDS. She and her team of scientists at the US National Cancer Institute were the first to molecularly clone HIV and to elucidate the complex structure of its genome. This accomplishment was instrumental in proving HIV to be the cause of AIDS, and in the subsequent development of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for the disease. She and her team were also the first to show that HIV is highly heterogeneous in patient populations, forecasting the importance of combination (cocktail) therapy to combat AIDS.

Dr Wong-Staal obtained a bachelor’s degree in bacteriology in 1968 and a Ph.D. in molecular biology in1972 , both from UCLA. In 1973, she joined Dr. Robert Gallo’s laboratory at the National Cancer Institute as a Research Fellow. During that time, she became interested in the class of viruses called retroviruses, which were powerful tools in molecular biology. Furthermore, she was enamored of the idea that retroviruses could be potential pathogens in human disease. This notion, though initially not very popular among leading scientists, was later validated in the case of AIDS and certain human leukemias. Dr. Wong-Staal published more than 400 peer-reviewed academic papers on the subject of human retroviruses and AIDS. In 1990, based on the citation index of her published work, she was selected by the Institute for Scientific Information as the top woman scientist of the previous decade. She received numerous honors and awards, including membership in the U.S. National Academy of Medicine and the Academia Sinica of Taiwan.

In 1990, Dr Wong-Staal left her position as Section Chief at the National Cancer Institute and returned to California to assume the Riford Chair in AIDS Research and Professorship in the Departments of Biology and Medicine at the University of California San Diego (UCSD.) Later, she became Director of the AIDS Research Institute and co-Director of the Center for AIDS Research at UCSD. In 2002, she left academia to direct research at biotechnology companies focused on applying novel approaches to target cancer and viral infections including HIV and hepatitis C virus. In addition to research in these various settings, she also enjoyed mentoring young scientists from all over the world, many of whom have become accomplished scientists in their own right.

Pennsylvania House Bill 300 is scheduled for a Judiciary Committee vote on March 10, 2026.

HB 300 is The Fairness Act, the state version of the federal Equality Act. Like its federal version, HB 300 would enshrine “gender identity” and “gender expression” in our state Constitution. Should this bill pass, women will be erased as a sex class.

PA4SBR urges you to contact your PA state rep and the House Judiciary Committee and tell them to OPPOSE HB 300.

Tell your rep that you support legal protection from discrimination for LGB Pennsylvanians. Tell your rep that you oppose the forced teaming of TQ+++. Emphasize that women and girls will be erased as a legally protected sex class should this bill pass. Women and girls’ rights are based on biological sex, NOT an amorphous and subjective “gender identity.” Share your experiences of males “identifying” into female facilities, athletics, rape/DV services, etc. Tell your rep how wrong allowing men into any women-only facility or services is. Tell her/him that the “Fairness Act” is UNFAIR to women.

In the decades after Sierra Leone’s civil war (1991-2002), there was pressure on the west African country to demonstrate progress on gender [sic] equality. Laws were passed to fight domestic violence, rape and teen pregnancy. But drawing on colonial legal models, the reforms don’t always match social realities and in many cases are harming young people from poor communities. ‘Trans Women’ Are Women, EU Parliament Says.

Men who identify as women should not only be included in all the EU’s feminist policies—the recognition of their ‘right’ to be treated as women should also be defended as a priority. That’s the recommendation from the European Parliament to the Council, approved this Thursday in the Strasbourg plenary.

A proposed amendment stating that “only biological women [sic] can become pregnant” was rejected after 233 MEPs voted against it, with 200 for and 107 abstentions.

Sex, Law, and the EU’s 340–141 Vote; The European Parliament’s refusal to anchor pregnancy to biological sex signals a structural shift in how sex is treated in law.

The resolution does not amend treaties or compel immediate statutory change. But EU governance does not operate solely through hard law. Parliamentary resolutions shape Commission priorities and influence how equality frameworks are interpreted across member states.

Language adopted at this stage often migrates — from guidance, to funding priorities, to regulatory expectation.

This vote shifts the line between biology and law.

The rejected pregnancy amendment is the fulcrum. Law depends on categories that can be administered. Reproductive health policy, medical research, crime data, sports eligibility, prison placement, and sex-segregated protections all require clarity about biological sex. In sport, those categories determine competitive fairness. In prisons and female-only shelters, they affect safety.

When legislators decline to state who can become pregnant, they are not merely broadening inclusion. They are signaling that biology itself is negotiable in statutory language.

So, according to the EU, a man who thinks he’s a woman always supersedes real women. Every. Single. Time. There can be no doubt that “trans rights” has always been a men’s rights movement. Watch the videos of women members of the European Parliament cheering their own subordination and erasure. Hello??!! Do you realize WTF you just did?? This is simply disgusting. I can’t even.

In another deeply disturbing development, UK First: Woman Gives Birth After Womb Transplant From Deceased Donor.

"This is a huge milestone, giving more hope to women who do not have a womb and are looking to start a family," says [transplant surgeon Isabel] Quiroga, who works at the Oxford Transplant Centre, part of the NHS Foundation Trust.

If uterus transplants were only used to help women without uteri (the article later says “people born without a womb”) this would probably be good news. However, we all know uterus transplants will not stop there. “People born without a womb” — IOW, MEN — will demand uteri. AGPs will lead the charge. So, as usual, improving women’s lives will take a back seat to fulfilling men’s delusions.

At least Britain left the EU (Brexit.) So we hope that TWAW doesn’t apply, especially with the recent UK Supreme Court landmark decision that TWANOTW. However, once the medical and surgical skill exists, it will spread all over the world, and in the EU men who think they’re women will have priority for a uterus transplant instead of actual women.

"Nellie Bly" was the pseudonym used by Elizabeth Jane Cochran (1864-1922) during her pioneering career as an investigative reporter. Writing for the New York World, the daring Bly sought to expose the ills of society, going so far as having herself committed to an insane asylum to view first-hand the treatment of the mentally ill. She is perhaps best known for her reporting as she traveled around the globe to challenge the record of the fictional Phileas T. Fogg from Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days—her journey lasted just over 72 days. In later years, Bly married millionaire manufacturer Robert Seaman. Taking over the Iron Clad Manufacturing Co. after his death, Elizabeth Cochran Seaman patented a steel barrel, viewed as the first practical 55-gallon oil drum. In 1998, she was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame.

Yesterday, outside a grocery store in Chestnut Hill, I ran into Dr. Karl Morris, a Democrat running for congress in Philadelphia. He’s running for the seat currently occupied by Dwight Evans, a man who has backed the gender movement at every turn. Dr. Morris was collecting signatures to get on the ballot.

I signed his petition and gave him my gender critical testimony. Karl Morris did not smirk, run or roll his eyes. He listened thoughtfully to my rather disorganized impromptu rants about women’s spaces and sports and transing gay children.

I also warned him that listening to me at all could seriously harm his campaign, as he could be rejected by the Democratic Establishment for even being polite to a gender critical person or addressing that person’s concerns.

He said, that’s okay, I’m not part of the establishment. So he listened, and he mentioned that even Gavin Newsom appears to be rethinking issues like sports.

I saw Dr. Morris’s politeness and willingness to talk to me without condescension or fear as a win.

Here is his website, and even though he is an underdog, I encourage you to contact him and politely make your case. I’ll be reaching out to Diag, WDI and WOLF to see if they want to meet with him, which I believe he might just do.

Comment on Proposed Rules to Protect Children from Sex-Rejecting Medical Intervention

On December 19, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued two proposed rules to protect children from sex-rejecting medical interventions.

Please post comments supporting BOTH proposed rules:

1. CMS-2451-P, prohibiting Federal Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) funding for sex-rejecting procedures on minors.

2. CMS-3481-P, adding a Hospital Condition of Participation that bars Medicare- and Medicaid-participating hospitals from performing sex-rejecting on children under 18.

Comments are due by February 17, 2026.

No child needs puberty blockers, opposite-sex hormones, or surgeries that cause irreversible harm like infertility, bone density loss, cardiovascular issues, sexual dysfunction, and lifelong regret. Feminizing boys and masculinizing girls isn’t legitimate medicine; it’s experimental, ideology-driven abuse with weak evidence of benefit and clear risks. Providers, hospitals, and states will only stop if federal funding is cut off and participation consequences are severe.

Submitting strong comments on both amplifies the impact— these rules together create powerful safeguards that will help protect children from these interventions.

Stand with Detransitioner Soren Aldaco – Texas Supreme Court Hearing February 11!

Protecting Texas Children is leading a coalition letter in strong support of Soren Aldaco, a brave detransitioner suing her former providers for guiding her toward irreversible harm through gender transition procedures as a minor/young adult— including testosterone and a double mastectomy. Soren’s medical malpractice case has now reached the Texas Supreme Court, with oral arguments scheduled for February 11, 2026. This ruling could determine whether detransitioners in Texas (and potentially nationwide) get their day in court or are blocked by strict statutes of limitations that often expire before the full harms of these procedures are realized.

Pa. rape crisis centers urge Shapiro, lawmakers to bolster funding:

Pittsburgh Action Against Rape — one of nearly 50 rape crisis centers across the commonwealth that collectively helped more than 25,000 people, including almost 6,000 children last year — “strongly [denounced] the absence of increased funding” in the executive budget rolled out Tuesday. The group said the lack of a boost to the last few years’ roughly $13.6 million budgeted — $11.9 million in state and $1.7 million in federal and other funding — marked “a direct contradiction to public claims of supporting survivors of sexual violence.”

GOP leaders must stop tying relief for childhood sexual abuse survivors to ‘pet projects,’ Shapiro says.

For decades, survivors have urged the state to open a temporary window so those abused can file lawsuits even though the statute of limitations has passed. They view creating a path for victims in older cases to sue their abusers as a crucial step for accountability.

In recent legislative sessions, Republican leaders in the state Senate have refused to advance a proposed constitutional amendment on the issue unless it is tied to an expanded voter ID measure.

“Leader [Matt] Bradford has put a clean bill on the House floor six different times over the last three years, and it has passed each time. But I got to say it, I have to call it out — Senate Republicans have refused to act,” Shapiro said during his budget address Tuesday. Some booed in response.

From The TERF Report, the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, whose jurisdiction is Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the US Virgin Islands. As part of its civics program, the Third Circuit is having an essay contest for 5th and 6th graders. The topic is:

“Does the United States Constitution address the grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence? If so, explain how.”

Kara Dansky wrote:

However, I can think of a reason why elementary school students would want to submit essays to the Third Circuit explaining why the Constitution does address the question of whether students have a right to privacy.

In 2018, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in a case called Doe v. Boyertown that it’s perfectly fine for schools to allow students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their purported “gender identities” instead of their sex. It essentially said that allowing students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with “gender identities” does not violate the privacy rights of students of the opposite sex. During oral arguments in that case, one judge stated on the record that it was inappropriate for lawyers to use the phrase “opposite sex” because he found that phrase to be confusing.

I think it would be quite fun if elementary school students submitted essays to the Third Circuit explaining that regardless of whether or not the Constitution addresses the 27 grievances against King George III listed in the Declaration of Independence, it does address students’ right to privacy and why the court got it wrong in Doe v. Boyertown. I wrote about Boyertown in more detail last summer (the content is behind the paywall). Information about how to submit essays is available in the links provided.

Here is some brief news from Our Fair Commonwealth.

AG Sunday leads letter to xAI regarding Grok’s creation of sexual content.

The AG’s office said that Grok has made this content publicly available to users at the click of a button, which in turn fuels harassment and exploitation. Victims have no way of stopping such postings.

Grok’s new feature allows X users to prompt the chatbot to “undress” women and children in photos and put them in sexualized contexts or situations without consent. The AG’s office said that xAI has marketed Grok’s content generation as a selling point.

A CBS news report says this about Grok:

Analysts from the U.K.-based group the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) detected a record 3,440 AI videos of child sexual abuse last year, up from just 13 videos the year prior, a 26,362% increase. Of the AI videos they tracked, over half meet the description of what’s known IWF refers to as “category A,” a classification that can include the most graphic imagery and torture.

The report comes amid a backlash against Grok, an AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk's company xAI, after it allowed users to generate sexually explicit images of women and minors. In a December analysis, Copyleaks, a plagiarism and AI content-detection tool, estimated the chatbot was creating "roughly one nonconsensual sexualized image per minute."

Some bloggers have urged users to stop using Xitter and other Musk companies and products.

Pa. woman fired for asking intimate question about trans coworker loses benefits appeal.

[Ms] Williams was an Imaging Production Specialist at Iron Mountain Information Management Services, Inc. in 2023 when she asked a coworker what type of genitalia a trans coworker had.

Her coworker reported the comment, and in a written statement provided to Iron Mountain before her firing, Williams said “I asked (a coworker) a question about someone’s private parts.”

Williams told Iron Mountain she didn’t understand why she couldn’t ask what private parts someone has. She said she was uncomfortable that her transgender [a TIM] coworker used the same bathroom as she. She was fired a day after the incident.

This is what happens when men are allowed to use women’s facilities. Of course Ms Williams was “uncomfortable” with a man in a women’s restroom. I hope she can find an attorney or organization to sue her company over their misogynist policy.

Finally, here is an excellent post about how some social movements, especially trantifa, use language to obfuscate:

When psychological jargon replaces descriptions of reality, it erodes our ability to draw legal distinctions, and the loss of legal rights soon follows. The recent Supreme Court cases Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B.P.J. offer a clear illustration.

Stated in ordinary language, the question before the Court is simple: Should the law recognize biological sex when allocating sex-based protections? Stripped of psychological jargon, the question itself is nonsensical. Sex-based protections that do not recognize sex as a biological category are incoherent. But once the issue is reframed in “gender” jargon, the cases appear to the uninformed as matters of discrimination and exclusion.

A Chester County school district is being investigated by the Trump administration over its transgender policies

Numerous Philadelphia-area school districts have policies allowing transgender students [IOW, males] to play on sports teams aligned with their gender identities, including Philadelphia. But Great Valley appears to be the first on the administration’s radar.

Great Valley was one of the first Pennsylvania school districts to pass a policy supporting the rights of transgender students in 2016 — seeking to provide those students “equal opportunity to achieve their maximum potential,” including by participating in sports “in a manner that is consistent with their consistently asserted gender identity.”

As usual, this Philadelphia Inquirer article is entirely pro-trans.

PA4SBR’s own Beth Ann Rosica, PhD, published an unbiased article about the Green Valley investigation.

Based on an analysis conducted by Broad + Liberty last summer, GVSD [Green Valley School District] is not the only local school district with a specific “Transgender and Gender Expansive Students” policy. Over 40 percent of public school districts in Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks, and Philadelphia Counties have a policy similar to Great Valley that clearly articulates that students can use the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity. An additional 21 percent of local districts recognize gender identity as a protection under their Title IX Nondiscrimination policy. Only 37 percent of local districts do not include “gender identity” in their Title IX policy; however, that does necessarily mean that students cannot use the bathroom of their choosing.

We hope that the US Supreme Court will decide in favor of common sense and keep ALL MALES out of women’s athletics.

PA State Police Misreporting Rapes

Police misreporting 100s of rapes ‘didn’t make any difference’ to how cases were handled, oversight board says

The head of a civilian oversight board said the State College Police Department’s misclassification of hundreds of rapes “didn’t make any difference” to how the cases were handled.

Community Oversight Board Chair Ron Madrid made those comments to Borough Council members during a Jan. 12 meeting in response to a 10-month Spotlight PA investigation. The newsroom found the department, which serves the community surrounding Penn State, had erroneously reported 254 cases of rape between 2013 and 2021 as sexual offenses, leading to highly inaccurate publicly reported crime data.

The department had never acknowledged the longstanding error or disclosed it to the public until approached by Spotlight PA about potential data discrepancies.

Borough Council President Evan Myers commended Madrid for taking on “this independent investigation.” However, when Council Member Nalini Krishnankutty asked Madrid to detail how the oversight board assessed the findings published by Spotlight PA, he said, “Investigation might be too strong a word.”

Madrid’s statements echoed what State College police officials told reporters throughout the course of reporting. Matthew Wilson, a former assistant chief who is now chief in Ferguson Township, told Spotlight PA in a February 2025 interview that the police department wasn’t calling those incidents rapes, but it was calling them sexual offenses. “I don’t see it as a huge deal,” Wilson said.

“I don’t see it as a huge deal.” This infuriating and inexcusable debacle is not a huge deal to the all-male investigators. WTF?!! Now we all know how seriously the PA state police take rape cases. After reading about negligent misogyny like this, why would any woman want to report that she was raped?

The Washington Post recently published a puff piece (gift link) on a trans-identifying male (TIM) who staunchly supports President Trump and MAGA.

She [sic] isn’t the only visible pro-Trump trans person on the right — Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympian and mega-celebrity, was on record supporting the president in 2016 and 2024. But with 1.5 million YouTube subscribers on her personal page and another 688,000 on the page for her podcast, “The Blaire White Project” — plus 540,000 followers on Instagram and more than 700,000 on X — she may be the most visible right-wing trans personality who has built a following exclusively online.

Apart from her support of adults who want to transition, Blaire’s views on trans rights are deeply conservative: She believes there are only two genders. She is against trans women competing in women’s sports (she thinks they should have their own, separate league). She believes governments should ban medical transition care for trans children, regardless of parental consent. She rejects the label “transgender” and identifies instead as “transsexual,” a term that some in the community consider outdated because it tethers transition to biological sex. And although her Texas driver’s license identifies her as female, she argues that trans women like herself are not “women.”

So Mr White has some common sense.

I wonder why WaPo published this article now. After a few other pro-TIM puff pieces featuring — boo hoo, woe is I — men who want to compete against women, it then published a pro-common sense editorial arguing against this. This current article quotes Mr White as “too trans for the right and too right for the trans.” Maybe they want to show that “not all trans” adhere to the party line. The article seems to reinforce the myth that only the far right opposes trans ideology. Heck, even TIMs can be duped into being MAGA! WaPo should feature a radical feminist and a left-leaning sex realist too. But we know that’s never gonna happen.

NY AG Letitia James accused of firing lawyer who opposes gender affirming care for kids: ‘Cowing me into silence’

A consumer fraud lawyer claims she was abruptly fired by New York State Attorney General Letitia James for publicly sounding the alarm about gender affirming care and “transitioning” kids.

Glenna Goldis put the AG’s office on blast for terminating her from the consumer fraud and protection unit on Thursday, revealing they treated her like a “pest” when she first started flagging concerns about gender medicine for youngsters.

“James was wrong to treat me like a pest. I was trying to warn her about red flags for fraud that I saw around PGM [pediatric gender medicine] — that’s what she hired me to do,” she said in a scathing statement on X.

Recall that New York state AG James (and PA Governor Josh Shapiro) is part of a multi-state lawsuit against the Trump administration’s efforts to protect children from sex-rejecting mutilation.

Unbelievable! In a Good Way!

The science blog Why Evolution Is True (WEIT) featured two elderly Japanese women who hunt venomous sea snakes. The women use no personal protective equipment of any kind. They use the deadly snakes in soup. WEIT reports:

Now all banded sea snakes are highly toxic, and [sic] are the kraits (genus Bungarus). Although bitten victims can be treated with antivenom, mortality from some species can be as high as 80% in untreated victims (age of victim and time until treatment begins are crucial). The venoms are neurotoxic and the symptoms are dire.

The snakes being hunted in this video, are probably the black-banded sea krait (Laticauda semifasciata), and they’re caught for food.

Penn’s Title IX settlement ‘set the tone’ for transgender athlete cases, Education Secretary says.

“UPenn was at the epicenter of this [men in women’s sports] debate," McMahon said on Jan. 13. “Our agreement with the university led to the restoration of female athletes’ rightful titles, the elimination of policies that allowed students to compete on teams based on their ‘gender identity’ rather than sex, and the issuance of an apology to female athletes whose educational experience was marred by sex-discrimination."

Nearly 30 states have banned transgender athletes from school sports, list shows. Pennsylvania is not one of them — YET.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington are the children's hospitals under scrutiny for treating transgender youth. Of course, the Philadelphia Inquirer’s coverage is entirely biased.

On her Substack, PA4SBR’s Dr Beth Ann Rosica writes that Even a Supreme Court Win Won’t Save Girls’ Sports in Pennsylvania.

Currently, schools throughout Pennsylvania are allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports, and they are taking away spots at district and state competitions which directly impacts college scholarship opportunities.

We have a long road ahead of us in Pennsylvania to enact legislation to protect girls and women, and it is incumbent upon all of us — regardless of political affiliation — to stand up and speak out. Most Americans believe that boys should not be able to play in girls’ sports; yet in our Commonwealth, we can’t get the Democratic-majority House to advance the bill, despite the fact that many Democrats support this position.

Dr Rosica also reports that PA state senators Judy Ward and Kristin Phillips-Hill were in DC. Senator Ward is the prime sponsor of PA SB 9, the Save Women's Sports bill, and Senator Phillips-Hill is a cosponsor.

PA General Assembly is back

Our state legislature runs on a two-year session; we’re currently in 2025-2026. Already some legislators have published two excellent Memoranda.

Representatives Jeanne McNeill and Chris Pielli have published Regulating AI for Children. Their proposed legislation would

… require AI to verify a user’s age and would prohibit a minor from accessing or using an AI companion. Furthermore, AI chatbots would be prohibited from soliciting minors to engage in, describe or transmit images of sexually explicit conduct. AI chatbots would be prohibited from encouraging suicide, self-harm, or physical or sexual violence. The penalty under this legislation would be a maximum fine of $100,000 for each violation.

Senators Chris Gebhard and Cris Dush have published Ending State Funding for Gender Transition of Minors. Their proposed legislation would

… eliminate funding for any healthcare system that continues providing gender-affirming [sic] medical interventions to minors diagnosed with gender dysphoria.

…

This approach has been driven by ideology rather than sound, evidence-based medicine. These gender transition surgeries are considered irreversible and have lifelong physical and psychological impacts. We have a responsibility to protect our most vulnerable population and ensure that medical care for children is grounded in real science, not political agendas.
