I’ve read many very interesting articles over the past week. This is a partial list. Some of these were on other blogs to which I subscribe and the rest people sent me. Thank you to everyone who emails me — keep them coming!
In no particular order:
WV Senate clarifies gender definition bill can’t be used to inspect child’s genitals From the party who doesn’t know what women are: “House Democrats said that the bill is reflective of ‘Republicans’ misplaced priorities’ this session. ‘They are more focused on genitals than jobs,’ said Del. Shawn Fluharty, D-Ohio in a news release.”
'Inseminated person' vs. 'mother'? Dems keep proving they've lost common sense | Opinion See above. Apparently the Democrats learned nothing from the 2024 election. ‘The Governor’s budget bill ERASES MOTHERS AND FATHERS, referring to women as ‘inseminated person(s)’ and fathers as ‘parent(s) who did not give birth,’ ‘ Nedweski said in a post on Facebook. ‘This woke gender insanity is EXACTLY what millions of Americans voted against in November. Reducing millions of Wisconsin mothers to nothing more than ideologically driven, virtue signaling jargon like ‘inseminated person(s)’ is not only deeply insulting, it’s anti-woman.’
'79% Of Americans' Trends As Dems Block Bill Banning Trans Athletes In Girls' Sports WAKE UP, DEMOCRATS!! Is this really the hill you want to die on?
Trump Trans Sports Order Makes Perfect Sense To Nearly 4 Out Of 5 Americans Common sense!
World Athletics to combat transgender issues as Lord Sebastian Coe announces huge shake-up to rules More common sense!
The Tragedy of Yarden Silveira This is a tragedy that may be more common than we know. “Now, through investigative work and interviews with his mother, Kendra, and his aunt, Ginger, it is possible to tell his story. This evidence reveals a boy on the autism spectrum who struggled to accept his homosexuality. Health professionals facilitated his transition when he was a teenager. After traumatic surgical complications, Yarden tried to detransition, only to be rebuffed by the same medical community that had readily agreed to operate. He died at just 23, in what his mother believes was a suicide.”
JK Rowling wades in on trans toddler row calling decision to suspend young pupil 'totalitarian insanity' That’s right — you’re never too young to be a phobe. “Helen Joyce, director of advocacy at human-rights charity Sex Matters, said: 'Every once in a while, the extremes of gender ideology throw up a story that seems too crazy to believe, and a toddler being suspended from nursery for so-called ‘transphobia’ or homophobia is one such example.”
England will start giving morning-after pill for free Good on England!
The Ground Zero of trans propaganda A very long and shocking article, but definitely worth reading. “It is universally known that male and female are real categories, that we are different, and that sometimes that distinction is important. But for reasons that will hopefully become the subject of extensive study in the future, in order to be accepted in polite society these days, you must pretend to think that this is an absurd and hateful proposition.”
Gender-critical scientist wins tribunal Woo hoo! Rare commons sense!
Trans rights minorities have captured Britain’s institutions Not so good on Britain. The same is true here in the USA. “Her recently published Sullivan Review reveals that when it comes to liberating public bodies from ‘institutional capture’ by trans activists and highlighting the dangerous lunacy of conflating sex with gender, our doughtiest defence is data.”
We’re lifelong feminists and we oppose Maine’s transgender student athlete policy Amen! “Many of us who are concerned about laws and policies that replace biological sex with gender identity are lifelong feminists and Democrats ourselves; we’ve fought for causes like same-sex marriage and reproductive rights. We never expected to find ourselves labeled right-wing for believing that there are real consequences to being born female that can’t be identified into.”
Parents and hospitals alike navigate shifting gender care access after Trump order Even more extremely biased and careless reporting from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. P-G disables comments on all of its pro-trans articles. Nonsubscribers should be able to read this as long as you disable any ad blockers.
What happens when a Chicago hospital bows to federal pressure on trans care for teens This bad reporting is from NPR.
