Follow Up on PA SB 9

Plus more good news!

Yesterday, PA4SBR reported that PA SB 9, the Save Women’s Sports Act, passed a Senate roll call vote with five Democrats joining all the Republicans in supporting it.

On a related note, on May 1, 2025, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a "Cass Review for America" titled Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices. This 409-page Review explores the history and lack of medical evidence that child “gender transition” improves children’s mental health.

The Review has been met with the predictable chorus of criticism from major medical and mental health organizations and the mainstream media….The fundamental objection to the Review is that it is the product of the Trump administration, which has shown a consistent disdain for scientific truth. However, anyone who claims to be on the side of scientific truth and reason is obliged to put aside ad hominem arguments and judge the Review on its merits, and these are considerable.
