Last day to register to vote in the primary is May 4, 2026.
Last day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is May 12, 2026.

Thanks, as always, for this informative article. I don't plan to vote in the primary because there is no primary race in my district in which one candidate is better than the other, but I'm very worried about November. Pennsylvania women have enjoyed a better-than-average situation under a split government, with neither side able to get its very worst ideas through the state legislature. If the state Senate falls to the Democrats, that's it. A trifecta means that all Dems terrible legislation will come sailing through, to be signed by Shapiro.
