Library "postpones" Sanctimonious LGBTQ+ Lecture
What could be the reason?
The William Jeans Library in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania postponed a Pride-month lecture titled: “LGBTQ+ Identities and Best Practices.” The lecture was scheduled for June 6th but no new date has been announced.
You can see the speaker in this exceptionally cringey video. We understand if you don’t want to watch the whole thing, but we suggest you take note of how childlike the woman in the video is and how she treats anything to do with sex as an abstraction. We recognize that she has a Master’s Degree, but she doesn’t seem to think like an adult or have any kind of intellectual authority.
It’s hard to imagine anyone taking advice on how to sweep a floor from this young woman. Certainly, no mature adult with grown-up sexual experience, homo or hetero, would need or want to be lectured by her.
We also understand why people wouldn’t contradict or call her out, because we suspect she would either cry or cry bigotry. However, we’re pretty sure her lecture wouldn’t have been well-attended.
I was at this same library (William Jeanes) a couple of years ago and saw a large display of trans propaganda in the children's section. It wasn't even June, not that that would have made it better. Librarians have gone from being some of my favorite people to being among the biggest pushers of a bizarre, harmful, for-profit agenda.
