Readers of this Substack may wonder if all LGBT organizations have been completely subsumed by gender ideology (GI). Are there any organizations for LGB without the T? Yes, readers, there is an organization for lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals (LGB)! It’s called LGB Alliance USA (LGBA.) For this article, I sent two founders of LGBA a questionnaire and report their answers here. I have edited their responses for both length and clarity. I thank both Jos Grover and Arianne for their time.
Full disclosure: Your author, Infamous Kitteh Mama, has been a member of LGBA for approximately 1.5 years.
Officially launched on August 26, 2020, LGB Alliance USA is part of an international body of lesbian, gay, and bisexual activists who realize our former LGBTQ+ NGOs have abdicated their duty to advance, protect, and defend the interests of the same-sex-oriented community. LGB Alliance USA stands as the mouthpiece for the LGB community in the USA. It says the quiet part out loud; that biological sex is immutable and our sexualities are based on our biological sex, not “gender identities.” LGBA USA is a nonpartisan organization committed to protecting the rights of gays, lesbians, and bisexuals. It rejects the forced teaming of the “LGB” and the “TQ” and would like to rebuild the LGB community. LGBA USA is in contact with its international body and attends online global meetings with them.
LGBA USA is an incorporated 501(c)3 organization, meaning that it is tax exempt as a public charity. Donations to LGBA USA are tax-deductible.
Because so many LGB people feel disenfranchised from the LGBTQ/”queer” community, LGBA USA hosts a variety of online community meetings for same-sex oriented people. These meetings’ goal is to provide opportunities for lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals to engage with each other, to speak openly about what has happened to the LGB community, and work to rebuild. LGBA aims to be a touchstone for those who need the acceptance and open arms that can only really be experienced when in community with other LGB people. LGBA also advocates on social media for the LGB community and for taking a sane approach to the discussion around GI. LGBA believes that sex-role nonconforming youth should be able to grow without interference from medicalization.
In addition to its online socials, LGBA produces YouTube videos featuring discussions with volunteers and interviews with guests. It keeps followers updated on the news, including doing weekly news round-ups. It also keeps followers updated about events it attended. For example, LGBA covered the trial of David Chester Warfield, a.k.a. “Dana Rivers,” the trans-identifying male who murdered a lesbian couple and their son in Oakland, California (Arianne attended the trial and reported from her notes.) LGBA also produces written and visual content from its volunteers on its website, email newsletter, and Substack. Finally, LGBA engages in activism, including submitting letters/comments and alerting its followers via social media of current activism opportunities such as letter writing campaigns.
Jos started (and Arianne joined shortly thereafter) LGBA USA as an answer to the LGBTQ NGOs that abdicated their duty to the homosexual and bisexual community in favor of pushing GI on our community and pushing medicalization on sex-role nonconforming youth who are likely to grow up as LGB adults.
Arianne’s disillusion with GI peaked in 2020. She jokes that the entire Universe was conspiring to peak her and that it’s hard to pin it down to one event in particular! But here are some highlights:
First, the medicalization of youth. Arianne noticed that there were more detransitioner narratives emerging online. Before 2020, while she read about the controversy about minors transitioning, she brushed it aside as some small issue of exaggerated significance. But seeing so many formerly medicalized kids now detransitioning and telling their story woke her up. She has now to come to realize that the medicalization of adults is also a problem and there is no truly “safe” age to transition.
Second, Arianne read JK Rowling’s infamous article ( read here ) and didn’t think it was so bad, contrary to what GI agitators were saying. It made her wonder if there was some sort of irrational hysteria around the topic going on in so-called “progressive” circles.
Third, Arianne started trying lesbian online dating again, for the first time since the mid-2010s or so. She noticed that lesbian online dating was increasingly dominated by trans-identifying males. While she had heard about the “cotton ceiling” phenomenon (that is, the insistence that lesbians must accept trans-identifying males as sexual partners) before, she assumed (much like with the youth transition issue) that it was marginal. Arianne then realized that it was more mainstream than she thought, especially for young lesbians. Plus, HER (a lesbian dating app) was advertising testosterone, which disgusted her.
Finally, Arianne began reading about autogynephilia, which she previously thought was a transphobic myth, from solid sources and became convinced it was the real reason for this “transbian” (i.e., males “identifying” as lesbians) phenomenon. Alice Dreger’s book Galileo’s Middle Finger was one such convincing source. After understanding autogynephilia as the reason for “transbians,” Arianne could no longer take such “transbians” seriously as actual lesbians, but rather a variant of straight men with sexual paraphilias.
Jos was always skeptical of GI, but like a good lefty lesbian she said the mantras and tried to make herself believe what she was hearing from HRC and GLAAD; that LGB people must protect their "trans siblings." Jos’s further skepticism happened in 2018 and then more so in 2019. By 2020, she was fully invested in protecting and rebuilding the LGB community.
Both Arianne and Jos write about the many ways that GI hurts gay and bisexual men. First, an increasing number of straight women are transitioning, resulting in an increase of women “identifying” as gay men. These faux “gay men” are now trying to pry their way into gay and bisexual men’s spaces. Second, a disproportionate number of boys who transition would otherwise grow up to be gay or bisexual men. It’s unhealthy to push young gay and bisexual men down the medicalization path.
While readers of this Substack know how GI erases and dehumanizes women, Jos and Arianne emphasize that males have inherent physical advantages over women, so that it feels disproportionately difficult for women. There have been very few trans-identifying females attempting to compete in men's sports. Still, there has been a massive influx of trans-identifying females attempting to enter male-only facilities. These attempts include clothing optional or intimate locations. On even the most basic level, a gay man trying to start a club on a college campus is no longer free to make an exclusively gay or LGB group because "it's not inclusive." This is a marvelous example: https://lgbausa.org/2021/07/a-rainbow-by-any-other-name-in-defense-of-the-homosexual/ . This young gay man's experiences predated the changes to Title IX under the Biden administration. Since these changes have taken effect, it will be even more daunting, if not impossible, for gay or bisexual men to have single-sex facilities on school campuses.
Arianne and Jos emphasize that, as a 501(c)3, LGBA USA is allowed to spend a small amount of its budget on political lobbying. However, as a 501(c)3 LGBA is bound to the IRS rules for a charitable organization. LGBA cannot endorse specific political parties or candidates. Right now, LGBA’s political activity consists of informing people of LGB-relevant legislation on social media, submitting public comments, writing/signing letters, and attending conferences. LGBA also restarted their monthly email newsletter containing this information and much more.
In addition, individual LGB Alliance USA members are politically active and their political affiliations cover pretty much every political alignment in the United States. Furthermore, its goal from the start has been to represent all lesbian, gay men, and bisexuals and its political affiliations are broad as any LGB community. LGBA does not want to disenfranchise any LGB person seeking community.
If LGB readers of this Substack want to join LGBA – and you should! -- you will meet other “peaked” LGB people. You will help build an alternative to wealthy “LGBTQ+” organizations (like ACLU, Lambda Legal, GLAAD, HRC, and Trevor Project) who want to medicalize LGB and sex-role nonconforming kids, erase women’s rights, and shove GI down our throats. You can submit LGB-related content (like articles or videos) that you want to publish, but find that “LGBTQ+” orgs won’t touch it. Come join us!
Lesbians, gay men, and bisexual women and men who are interested in preserving, protecting, and rebuilding the LGB community should support LGBA by reposting or sharing its content, commenting and liking its content, and helping it attempt to beat the social media-algorithm driven by rules created by GLAAD and other legacy organizations that aim to silence groups like it. If you know that GI is gobbledygook and believe in single-sex facilities and the rights of lesbian, gay, and bisexual people to base our sexualities on our biological sex, join LGBA. If you want to protect the LGB community of all ages from the rigid, draconian, sex-role stereotypes that push unnecessary medicalization on our community, join LGBA. If you want to help rebuild the LGB community so young LGB and questioning people have a soft spot to land when they are figuring themselves out, join LGBA. If you are tired of the lesbiphobia, homophobia and biphobia pushed on LGB people that claims we must accept people into our dating pools based on their self-identification, join LGBA. If you want to speak out but can't, yet, join LGBA!

Jos and Arianne thank PA 4 Sex-Based Rights for the opportunity to talk about LGB Alliance USA. There's a lot to be hopeful about as LGBA nears its 4th year in existence as an organization. Everything they've done and everything they do is volunteer-based and community-created. LGBA strives to be the change we want to see. If LGB readers of this Substack are serious about helping change the trajectory of the LGB community for the better, please reach out and help us work to rebuild our community.
LGBA is a volunteer-led and run organization. If PA 4 Sex-Based Rights members are interested in volunteering, Jos and Arianne’s suggestion would be to start attending our online meetings. From there we can get you connected to our online community, where you can share your ideas with other volunteers. Here is a link to LGBA’s events page: https://lgbausa.org/upcoming-events/ .
FGB and PA 4 Sex-based Rights thanks Jos Grover and Arianne for their time!
