Defend women-only federally funded housing and facilities

Dear Readers, we have a national action alert.
The Trump Administration has proposed the repeal of the “Equal Access Rule,” which guarantees equal use of government-funded housing programs--including homeless and domestic violence shelters--regardless of a person’s sexual orientation, “gender identity,” or marital status. Again we have “gender identity” hijacking real civil rights movements.
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD] proposed the rule change to align with President Trump’s Executive Order on gender ideology. The proposed rule is FR-6518-P-01 Equal Access to Housing in HUD Programs Revisions. You can read the entire proposal here.
This means that anyone using federally funded homeless or domestic violence shelters must use the services that match their biological sex. Men who think they’re women must use services/shelters for men because they’re men. No female impersonators could be housed in women’s shelters because they’re men. Women’s shelters and services would be safe and protected single-sex only, as they should be.
Already trantifa are howling that men who think they’re women are being banned from homeless shelters — OMG genocide! Of course, this is ridiculous. No one is being banned from homeless shelters. Everyone must use the shelter/service that matches their biological sex. Even the media are presenting this as a “trans rights” issue, not a women’s rights issue. Just search the internet.
HUD is soliciting comments on this proposal on Federal Register. The deadline is June 29, 2026. Please send your comments now before you forget. Be sure to include the phrase “FR-6518-P-01 Equal Access to Housing in HUD Programs Revisions” in your comments. This is the link to Federal Register for comments. Your comments, but not personally identifying information, will be part of the public record. However, you can remain anonymous or use a pseudonym and/or throwaway email address if you want.
Tell HUD that women and girls have a right to single-sex housing and services for their privacy, safety, and dignity.
Women in battered women’s and homeless shelters are especially vulnerable to male violence. Women and girls in shelters are escaping from male violence. How do we know that a man in a dress is NOT a predator? Already in the UK and Canada, female impersonators have assaulted women in battered women’s shelters. Read about WoLF's lawsuit over men in women's prisons. Men in women’s prisons are raping (and sometimes impregnating) women inmates.
Of course, men in women’s shelters/facilities in the US are assaulting women as well. Just search the internet.

If you can’t even locate women-only housing or services, tell HUD.
