The North Penn story has caught fire, and the district is responding. You can read Superintendent Todd M. Bauer’s response in full here.
Some things worth highlighting:
Today, April 29th, there will be a preplanned virtual Safe Schools Meeting for the district. You can register here.
Additionally, a Safe Schools Forum will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at 6 p.m. at North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale.
Superintendent Bauer claims he will respond to emails, calls, and requests for meetings. We’re going to request one, though we don’t know if he will respond.
We said in an earlier post that school officials completely ignored complaints about the attacker. That now appears to be false. New reports indicate that the boy was kept from the lunchroom due to the complaints. However, the school eventually allowed the boy access to the lunchroom where the attack occurred. It’s important to remember we don’t know what the school officials were told about this boy’s history. What we do know is that they were required to pretend he was a girl, and they required students to do so as well.
Media outlets are handling the gender lie in various ways. Some are still pretending this was a girl who attacked a girl. Some are avoiding referring to biological sex or gender at all. Some are speaking the truth and accurately portraying this as male-on-female violence.
We’ll keep monitoring the situation, and we encourage you to call out media outlets for inaccurate coverage.
Thank you for these updates!
