And an appeal to Nature
But first, our lagniappe!
Dear Readers, when Your Humble Author needs a break from unrelenting misogyny and other insanity, she turns to Nature. Nature always amazes.
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the Russian Arctic, Greenland, and parts of Europe saw a total solar eclipse “for the ages.” Here is one photo of totality from La Rioja region, Spain:

How can anyone NOT be amazed and moved when seeing magnificence like this??
Your Humble Author’s appeal to Nature is not the logical fallacy, but an appeal to love our gorgeous world and beyond. Even watching the 2026 eclipse live on YouTube (excellent coverage, timeanddate) moved YHA to tears.

There's a birth control backlash online. Can it explain the rise in abortions? Um, yes. Again, YHA is surprised that anti-abortion agitators oppose contraception, since contraception use prevents unintended pregnancies which prevent abortions… Again, logic.

Federal Judge Rules That FDA’s Mifepristone Restrictions Are Excessive, Unscientific, and Unlawful Finally some common sense!

The HHS Wolves in White Coats report should initiate serious DOJ/CMS investigations of both hospitals and providers who might have engaged in billing/insurance fraud for sex-rejecting procedures.
