Many of you probably read the story of Dr. Eithan Haim in The Free Press recently. The Texas physician uncovered that his hospital continued to practice the medical transition of children after Texas banned the practice. The hospital was also covering up the fact they were doing so, further breaking the law. Dr. Haim blew the whistle and provided documentation to a journalist.
The federal government is now pursuing Dr. Haim on felony charges under the guise of medical privacy (HIPAA) though Haim redacted the names of all of the patients on all records. While the precise legal details are unknown, it is likely that Dr. Haim is protected under whistleblower laws.
There is a GoFundMe to help Dr. Haim with his defense, as he was a resident at the time of his actions and has limited financial resources.
You can also contact the Department of Health and Human Services and ask them if politically motivated prosecutions are part of their mission. The more complaints they get from Purple Pennsylvania, the more nervous their ideologues should be.
Eithan Haim is a good man who doesn't deserve to have his life disrupted by unsubstantiated threats from our current administration. These are the same people who have attacked parents for protecting their children from dangerous ideology. They will stop at nothing to continue their woke agenda even though they must see the end of their scare mongering is coming.
