Trans-identified female preschool teacher claims to have been fired for her pregnancy

Pregnancy discrimination is illegal, but there’s still a lot to unpack.

In Easton, a female preschool teacher who identifies as a man and cosplays as such claims she was fired when she became pregnant and school officials discovered she was female.

This story, by a ridiculously captured journalist who apparently buys what the TiF is selling, tells her side of the story.

Firstly, it is illegal to fire a woman for being pregnant. If that happened, the plaintiff has a case.

However, some of her story is worth viewing through a skeptical lens.

1. Trans-identified females look like trans-identified females. It is unlikely anyone at the school didn’t know she was female. You have to be as far away as the “Is it Cake?” judges are from the cake to be fooled by a TiF.

2. It is more likely, the plaintiff’s delusion that she was passing was broken by her pregnancy. She suddenly knew everyone knew she was a female.

3. Her colleagues probably did have a more difficult time carrying on with the lie that she is a man once she became pregnant.

Also, please tell the hapless journalist Rudy Miller at (rmiller@lehighvalleylive.com) that Drew is female and that he does not have to go along with the lie that she is not. It’s bad journalism. But be polite. He probably thinks it is “kind” to do so.
