We need you to protect women and girls!

Greetings everyone! I combined many action alerts from DIAG, IWF, and National Center on Sexual Exploitation in this post so that you can communicate with your elected officials on women’s and girls’ sex-based rights.

1.      Pass the Kids’ Online Safety Act (KOSA.) With only a few weeks left in the 118th Congressional session, Congress urgently must pass KOSA (H.R. 7891.) This bill passed the Senate 91-3 in July and is widely considered the most comprehensive child protection legislation moving through Congress. Contact your Representative here.

2.      Ask Your PA State Legislators to Protect Children from Exposure to Online Pornography. Contact them here.

3.      Urge PA Attorney General Michelle A Henry to put politics aside and investigate the AAP. Use this new template letter to ask Ms. Henry to prioritize children and join her colleagues in demanding documents and information from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) related to its support for puberty blockers. In September 2024 twenty-one state Attorneys General sent a letter to AAP highlighting significant concerns about the safety, efficacy, and reversibility of this intervention. They questioned which evidence, if any, AAP uses to justify promoting blockers and whether they’re misleading patients and their families — and breaking consumer protection laws in the process. 4.      For Allegheny County residents. Time sensitive. This action comes from Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh (WC&S.) By 5 pm on November 26, 2024, please contact the Allegheny County Council and request that they approve the County Executive’s proposed budget to ensure that human services like WC&S continue in 2025. Email or call your County Councillor to thank them for listening and working to preserve human services. Remind them that WC&S services are effective and essential to the > 7,500 women and children they serve annually and that it is important for the County Council to approve the proposed budget. 5.      Protect women’s sports. The Ladies’ Professional Golf Association (LGPA), along with other golf governing bodies like the United States Golf Association (USGA) and International Golf Federation (IGF) need to do the right thing by keeping women’s golf for women only. Contact them here.

6.      Believers and non-believers alike — Pope Francis needs to hear from you. GenerazioneD is an organization fighting the gender virus in Italy and providing support to parents. They had a successful meeting with Pope Francis on October 25, 2024, bringing messages from other organizations around the world who are also working to raise awareness about the dangers of “gender medicine.” GenerazioneD is inviting all parents to send a follow-up response, which aims to ensure the Vatican fully understands the range of problems in this area. 7.      Oregon action. Time sensitive. You do not need to be an Oregon resident to comment. The state of Oregon has proposed to establish WPATH-8 as the standard of “gender medicine” for the state. We have a limited window — until November 26, 2024 at 5pm PT — to send our comments and stop this from happening. 8.      Florida action. You do not need to be a Florida resident to comment. FL state butcher, Dr. Sidhbh "Yeet the Teet" Gallagher, is purported to be ramping up her practice in order to amputate the healthy breasts of as many young girls as possible before the new administration takes office. Time to contact Florida’s AG and ask her to investigate Gallagher's practice: www.myfloridalegal.com/ .

9.      Call for articles. As you may know, gender ideology has completely captured the Unitarian Universalists. UUs have defrocked ministers and excommunicated congregants for dissenting from GI groupthink. Dissident UUs have their own magazine and request submissions by December 5, 2024. Editor John Griffin Miller asks that you tell your friends, colleagues and other UUs. He suggests articles about:

a.      Stories of how the new bylaws and the elimination of the 7 Principles is affecting churches, including being ruled 'Out of Covenant,' etc.;

b.     Previously published pieces are good. Being a little outrageous or funny is extra good and might even encourage others to write something or bring up discussion topics. Controversy is certainly ok as are Opposing viewpoints, too! Suggestions for articles and reactions to previous pieces are also welcome. 

c.      Long pieces are fine. Op eds, graphics/cartoons, and letters to the editor are especially welcome. 

d. Anyone looking for a job, or having one to offer, for the possible new free Help Wanted feature. We know there are lots of churches struggling to find professional leadership;

e. More growth ideas, explanations, and stories of churches that grew, or didn't, and why; and

f. Announcements, events, items for sale, or other things that might benefit from a FREE listing.

g. Send submissions, suggestions, comments, and requests to be on the direct email list to UUnderWorld74@gmail.com .

Griffin Miller also asks that UUs and others:

1.      Cut, paste, and post on your Facebook page, your church's Facebook page/group, or anywhere else you think might generate some distribution.
