A lot of this is happening because people don't pay attention to school board elections, or because they think that, because they vote Democrat in state and federal elections, they should vote Democrat for school board, as well.
North Penn, specifically, has been ruled by "North Penn Neighbors for Progress" for more than six years now. I can only imagine that initially, this was part of a wave of anti-Republican sentiment that was primarily related to national politics.
Please, pay attention. Learn about the candidates and ask questions. I can't guarantee that the Republicans in any given race will be any good, but I can pretty much guarantee that the Democrats will be garbage.
And if you're a nice suburban Democrat you probably listen to NPR, which is so aggressively funded by the trans cult that they push gender ideology multiple times a day. I think people believe the lie that this isn't happening, think that a boy who says he's a girl must be a homosexual and must therefore be unthreatening - so much wrong to unpack there including homophobia. But yes, it's time to break the binary and look at candidates not parties. See what I did there? Binaries. Because for people who say they hate binaries, everyone involved certainly thinks in them.
